Ultra-sexist cultures persevere due to the lack of self-critic on the
 majority of the opressed people.They are educated since birth to 
believe in that way and that way alone. In those cultures a very small 
number of women fight to change, because they see it beyond the 
generational nonsense. While studying victimology in sex crimes I read 
that some female victims have little to no empathy towards other 
victims. That led some anthropologists to the theory that the 
continuation of barbaric acts by the mothers to daughters is simply a 
way to relive and face that action or simply because they either didn’t 
care or wanted others to suffer the same. 
Did you knew honor killings is quite common on our side of the globe,
 maong christians, but we don’t call that due to pure discrimination on 
muslims. After all we are nothing like them.
Societies that men and women share power there is better balanced and
 it progresses faster and further than most (Sweden), because women 
literally gives men a better and more moderate view and sort of override
 the effects of testoterone (less idiotic, impulsive harsh decicion 
making leads to better ideas – who knew?).
That picture of the woman in Egypt being groped reminded me of that 
US journalist who got gang raped in the middle of the crowd… Everyone 
around acted like it was the most common thing in the world, until she 
was aided by a few women. Didn’t get much news after the fact  and hope 
she’s okay. The Muslim Brotherhood condemned the fact but later stated 
that her looks brought it upon her and that’s why women should wear a 
head scarf or a burka.
